Aston Martin revived the legend in 2020 with the Goldfinger DB5 Continuation, a new and official reinterpretation of James Bond's DB5, with only 25 examples hand-built in Newport Pagnell. Painted exclusively in Silver Birch, it features the same aluminum body and chassis as the original DB5, as well as a 4.0-liter inline six-cylinder engine producing around 282 HP, paired with a five-speed ZF manual transmission. But above all, it incorporates a range of functional gadgets inspired by the film, including dummy machine guns, rotating license plates, a smoke diffuser, rear bulletproof screen, etc. Not approved for road use and sold for around €3 million, the DB5 Goldfinger Continuation is positioned as an absolute collector's item, halfway between a movie prop and a rolling tribute to the DB5's most famous role.

2/3-scale electric tribute — heritage reimagined for all ages
Designed as a playful tribute to the icon of the sixties, the DB5 Junior is a two-thirds scale electric replica of the real DB5, developed by The Little Car Company in official collaboration with Aston Martin. Measuring approximately 3 m long and 1.10 m wide, it can accommodate one adult and one child side by side and offers several driving modes, from “Novice” mode, limited to approximately 19 km/h, to more powerful versions such as the DB5 Vantage Junior. With its tubular chassis, high-end finish, disc brakes, and a starting price of around €39,000 for several hundred units, the DB5 Junior is positioned as a true collector's toy, allowing children to discover the world of the DB5 from an early age while remaining fully usable on private tracks.
